For this reason, since the day we heard it, we have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you may lead lives worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, as you bear fruit in every good work and as you grow in the knowledge of God.

We are each responsible for developing our own faith and helping others develop their faith as we journey through life.  NPCUCC is committed to providing opportunities to help individuals develop their faith through worship, music, prayer, bible study, Christian fellowship and putting our faith into action. Our worship services on Sunday mornings and special services during Advent and Lent provide the basic foundation for faith development.  Below are some of our other activities designed to help you grow your faith through bible study, discussion of issues and sharing Christian fellowship.

Christian Studies.  Everyone is encouraged to ready and study the bible and other relevant literature.  NPCUCC provides opportunities gather together to study, discuss issues and enjoy Christian fellowship:

  • Sunday Morning Adult Study.  This Adult Study Group meets at 9:30 each Sunday morning.
  • Tuesday Morning Adult Study.  This group meets at 11 am each Tuesday morning.  Most of the group then goes to a local restaurant to enjoy lunch together.
  • Monthly Home Bible Study.  The Home Bible Study meets monthly at a participant’s home on a Thursday at 6 pm for a lite supper followed by bible study.

Retreats.  NPCUCC holds periodic day and overnight retreats at DaySpring Episcopal Conference Center, Parish, Florida.  The annual retreats generally start on Thursday afternoon and end at noon on Saturday.

Faith Builder Trips.  NPCUCC has sponsored trips to the Holy Land, to Martin Luther sites and other relevant locations.
