Worshipping God

23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.’

John 4:23-24 NRSVA

We gather together on Sunday mornings at 10 am for Christian fellowship and to worship God. Each service includes using music to praise and thank the Lord; prayer to both request His help and thank Him for his blessings, bible readings to learn His word. Sermons are based on the bible and include frequent scripture quotes. These Sunday services provide the foundation of our ministry.

We generally celebrate open Communion on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome to participate in communion.

Prayer is an integral part of our worship services and other activities.  If you desire, members of our Diaconate are available to pray with you after services.  Pastor Attila also hosts a Wednesday morning telephone prayer line.

Music is a key ingredient of our worship services.  As it states in Psalm 95:

O come, let us sing to the Lord;
    let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
    let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

Each worship service typically includes singing a couple hymns, an anthem by the choir and concludes with sing the Lord’s Prayer.
