Obituary
The Lord welcomed home an angel, Norma Lillian Beach, born Norma Lillian Shultes, on Sunday, December 17, 2023, peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness.
Anyone who knew Norma knew her tenacity for volunteering and helping others in any way she could. Between collecting food for the needy, outreach to shut-ins, starting the File-For-Life Program, and other projects to beautify her community all while heading up the Ladies Auxillary at UCC Church, it was a wonder she ever slept.
Norma was born on June 19, 1940. She was a beloved wife to Richard Beach, and a caring mother to Martha Romano, Nicholas Romano, James Romano (Kathy), and Norma Romano (Chester Pinder). She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Timothy (Ashley), Daniel, Sarah, Nicholas, Matthew, Joshlyn, Kayla, Corey, and her great-grandson, Ronin.
She is survived by three of five siblings, Patricia Burnett, Robert Shultes (Janet), and Barbara Thomas-Stillman (David).
A Viewing will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 12:30pm-2pm with a Memorial Service afterward at The United Church of Christ located at 3450 S. Biscayne Dr. North Port, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The United Church of Christ Restoration Fund.
